    Our client, a private practice in Eastpointe (MI), is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant / Medical Receptionist to work 2-3 days per week. The Medical Office professional will be responsible for drawing labs/phlebotomy, conducting patient histories, answering the phone, checking patients-in-and-out and other general medical office duties. Seeking a team-player that has at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a private medical practice environment. Must be honest, trustworthy, and flexible – willing to work in the front or back-office as needed. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

 

Medical Billing and Medical Coding Opportunities:

 

  • Certified Coder – Specialty Medical Practice - Grosse Pointe (MI) Area

    Our client, a prestigious multi-location specialty practice, has an outstanding opportunity available for a Certified Coding Professional (CPC or CCS-P). The Coder will be responsible for coding and entering inpatient, outpatient and procedural reimbursement codes into the system. Will work in conjunction with other Certified Coding Professionals within the organization’s billing department to achieve maximum reimbursement results. The coder will be responsible for all initial charge entry and front-end coding for a high-volume multi-physician specialty surgical practice. Prior experience in an outpatient private practice is preferred.

     

    Requirements include:

    • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Certified Coder
    • A nationally recognized coding credential (CPC, CCS-P, CCS or CPC-H)
    • AAPC or AHIMA is a plus

    Exciting opportunity available for a Laboratory Director of a large hospital lab located in the Metro Detroit area.  Only those with extensive experience in commercial, hospital and specialized laboratories with be considered for this position.  The job description includes but is not limited to; developing and implementing new policies, overseeing laboratory staff, streamlining and approving procedures/protocols, compliance with regulations and guidelines, measures performance and develops departmental goals.  The Director functions as the expert resources for the laboratory and will establish quality indicators and will manage to those expectations.  The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in related fields (a master’s degree is preferred), must have 5+ years of progressively more responsible experience in administration of laboratory operations, ASAP registered, hands-on experience in commercial, hospital and specialized labs is a must!

    ·        5+ years of progressively more responsible experience in administration of laboratory operations

    Our client, a multi-specialty practice in the Columbus, Ohio, area is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator. The practice is in a growth mode and expects to double or triple in size by the end of the year. Practice management candidates should have at least 3 years of experience managing a physician practice with at least four (4) physicians. You should also have experience developing policies and procedures. The Practice Administrator will oversee the medical practice and its employees, the practice financials, and human resource functions.

     

    Requirements:

    ·         3+ years of experience managing a practice with at least 4 physicians
