NCQA and regulatory standards, train and supervise credentialing
staff, assist Quality Management Director in research, perform
pre-delegation audits and assist the Director in preparation for

must have two years of hospital, managed care or health care

Laboratory Director
Exciting opportunity available for a Laboratory Director of a
large hospital lab located in the Metro Detroit area.
The Director will oversee laboratory operations at several
hospitals and outreach/commercial lab operations -- must have
experience overseeing laboratory services at multiple hospital
locations.
Only those with extensive experience
in commercial, hospital and specialized laboratories will be
considered for this position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing and
implementing new policies, overseeing laboratory staff,
streamlining and approving procedures/protocols, maintaining
compliance with regulations and guidelines, measuring
performance and developing departmental goals. The Director
functions as the expert resources for the laboratory and will
establish quality indicators and will manage to those
expectations.
The
ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field
(a master’s degree is preferred), must have 5+ years of
progressively more responsible experience in administration of
laboratory operations, ASCP registered, hands-on experience in
commercial, hospital and specialized labs is a must!
