  • Supervisor, Credentialing Department - Health Maintenance Organization - Southeast, MI

Our client, a long standing health care provider, seeks an enthusiastic, self-motivated health care professional for a unique supervisory position. Must have hands-on experience with overseeing daily operations of a Credentialing department including; accreditation, regulatory requirements and organizational policies/procedures. The Supervisor will handle a variety of tasks including, all adherence to relative NCQA and regulatory standards, train and supervise credentialing staff, assist Quality Management Director in research, perform pre-delegation audits and assist the Director in preparation for accreditation and regulatory surveys. For consideration, candidate must have two years of hospital, managed care or health care delivery system credentialing experience. This is a full-time position with a lucrative salary plus full benefits.

    Our client, a hospital based Chemistry Laboratory, is seeking a Supervisor with experience managing a team of at least ten (10) Laboratory Technicians/ Clinical Pathologists / Medical Technologists.   • Laboratory Director

    Exciting opportunity available for a Laboratory Director of a large hospital lab located in the Metro Detroit area.  The Director will oversee laboratory operations at several hospitals and outreach/commercial lab operations -- must have experience overseeing laboratory services at multiple hospital locations. Only those with extensive experience in commercial, hospital and specialized laboratories will be considered for this position. 

     

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing and implementing new policies, overseeing laboratory staff, streamlining and approving procedures/protocols, maintaining compliance with regulations and guidelines, measuring performance and developing departmental goals.  The Director functions as the expert resources for the laboratory and will establish quality indicators and will manage to those expectations. 

     

    The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field (a master’s degree is preferred), must have 5+ years of progressively more responsible experience in administration of laboratory operations, ASCP registered, hands-on experience in commercial, hospital and specialized labs is a must!

     

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in related fields.  Master’s degree is preferred
    • Extensive experience in commercial, hospital, and specialized laboratories is a MUST
    • 5+ years of progressively more responsible experience in administration of laboratory operations, including oversight of multiple hospital-based and commercial / outreach laboratory sites.
    • American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) registered
    • Advanced knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
    • Significant knowledge of the clinical lab environment, processes, & procedures

  • Medical Coding (CPC) Supervisor - Toledo, Ohio

    Our client, a prestigious and large medical organization in Toledo, has a unique opportunity available for an experienced coder to oversee a busy coding department.  This established organization is seeking a full-time Medical Coding Supervisor with 5+ years of hands-on coding experience; overseeing the medical billing process from beginning to end, experience overseeing a busy coding department composed of 10 to 15 coders, and must have management experience.

     

    A through knowledge of major insurance payers and the ability to keep abreast of medical billing changes is required.  This individual will be responsible for assuring timely payment, monitoring and reviewing coders’ performances, and the accurate use of billing codes and diagnosis’ for maximum reimbursement.  A strong background in Medicare coding and Medicare regulations is necessary for success in this role.  Compensation commensurate with experience.  Our client also offers a full benefits package.
